Women or men

Are you a typical woman or man? Probably not. There is virtually no such thing.

Preconceived ideas

There are all kinds of preconceived ideas about women and men. For example, that women are sweet, obsessed with their appearance, and don’t like football. And that men are strong and self-confident, never cry and would never wear a dress. Is that an accurate description of who you are? Or do all those preconceived ideas drive you nuts?

Slut or stud

There are also preconceived ideas about sex. People often think that women should approach sex differently to men. Women are expected to play hard to get, otherwise they are ‘sluts’.  Men are expected to always be in the mood and to take the initiative; that proves they’re macho. But is that fair?

Everyone is different

Some women simply approach a man. Plenty of men cry and plenty of women like football. And plenty of boys are not ready for sex yet. Some women like women, and some men like men. And some women and men are impossible to categorize. Just as well. The point is to be yourself and to do what feels good for you.

Breasts

You develop breasts during puberty. This could start in a girl of 8, but also in a girl of 14. Age varies for all girls.

Menstruation

During puberty, a girl has her first period. For about 5 days, some blood, mixed with mucus, flows from your vagina. You can use tampons, sanitary pads or cups to soak up the blood and mucus.
